• At this point, the furnace is now complete. This first picture shows a side/back view of the lower portion of the furnace. Here you can clearly see the lift pedal and cam mechanism. Also shown is how the burner assembly sits in the tube. Please do not ask about the quick-disconnect fitting.

• Now it is time to cure the furnace and drive out the last of the moisture. I started to explain this on Page 9 of the "Foundry Part 2" series, but am presenting the pictures here. This is the first lighting, shown with the cover open.
